What a lovely surprise: To take the unknown path on google maps and land at this site. Sol & Sombra served us exceptionally well cooked fish. The portions were very generous, which, coming from the US, it’s not an understatement. We tried their smoothies, salads, sardines, tamboril, and chicken piri-piri. We should have shared. The prices were reasonable, as expected for a beach side restaurant serving good food. The service was welcoming and accommodating. It took a while to be seated and order, but we had no rush and they had to deal with a lot of people, some not too patient, some not too well mannered, yet, they handled the situations well. Get some drinks and enjoy the view while you wait. Relax, that’s what vacation is for. Best of luck, Trotamundos! ~ Maria L

The absolute #1 beach club in Prainha! If you are looking for the perfect beach spot in Prainha, look no further than Sol e Sombra. It has easily become my absolute favorite beach club in the area, and for good reason! • The Food: Simply delicious. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. • The Service: Absolutely superb. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and they really make you feel at home. • The Vibe: While it's great all day long, the real magic happens at the end of the day during the weekend. They host live music as the sun starts to go down, creating an unforgettable, laid-back atmosphere. Great food, top-tier service, and a fantastic musical backdrop right by the ocean—Sol e Sombra has it all. Highly, highly recommended! ~ PerZZ E

Je recommande les poissons frais du jour cuits à la braise! Dommage, il ne sont pas accompagné par les frittes mais juste des tomates et ognions. Il faut donc payer une assiette de pommes de terre frites. Néanmoins à 5,5€ c’est une quantité pour deux personnes. Dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un super moment avec un paysage exceptionnel. Les enfants ont eu des spaghetti à la bolognaise pour 7,7€. C’est correct. ~ Daniel
